Unfortunately, with Season 2 of Forever cancelled on ABC., fans were left with many questions. If a second season had been granted, would have Dr. Henry Morgan (Ioan Gruffudd) and Detective Jo Martinez (Alana De La Garza) ended up with "kids?"

As we previously mentioned, Forever followed Dr. Henry Morgan (Gruffudd) and Detective Jo Martinez (Garza) as they worked together to solve criminal cases. Born 200 years ago, Henry believes his crime-solving work will help solve the mystery behind his own immortality. But the more Jo starts to get closer with Henry, the more his secretive past starts to reveal itself.

According to TV Line, the first season finale ended with the Henry poised to tell Jo about his long-held secret. Jo had suddenly stumbled upon a photo of Henry. She immediately noticed that he hadn't aged in decades. Unfortunately, because the show was cancelled and not renewed for a second season, audiences thought the cliff-hanger would remain unresolved.

On his official Twitter account, series creator Matt Miller led his own Q&A session and answered questions about would've happened next on the cancelled ABC series.

Miller tweeted, "Hey everyone. Going to start answering questions. use #askmattmiller. will try to answer as many as i can. brevity not my strong suit."

In the upcoming second season, if the series had been renewed by ABC, audiences would have gotten a chance to meet more of Morgan's biological kids, who would have been introduced "in flashbacks." In another episode, Henry might have even met author Arthur Conan Doyle and inspired him to create the iconic sleuth, Sherlock Holmes.

Would Henry have come upfront about the photo Jo found, Miller answers, "Was going to be complicated then interrupted, then he tries to tell her then...."

Would they have still gone to paris together, Miller responds, "Yes. that was the plan. someday...."
