Kobe Bryant has been riddled with injuries over the last few years of his Los Angeles Lakers career, the latest of which being a torn rotator cuff resulting in a 2015 shoulder surgery. This surgery was a success though, because this week he was cleared to play the upcoming 2015/2016 NBA season, which could be the final run of games for the 37-year-old living basketball icon. The only question is: Can he make a comeback after this injury?

According to Bleacher Report, "Bryant's recovery from his latest devastating late-career injury, a torn rotator cuff in his right shoulder, is complete-and he currently has no physical limitations as he gears up for what he expects will be his final NBA season. Bryant has been medically cleared for all basketball activities, according to league sources."

While some might be wary to celebrate, considering the player's age, this is Kobe Bryant we're talking about. Dime Mag points out that his 2012-2013 was his best since 2008, with a problematic Lakers team. Considering LA is trying to rebuild, will the veteran player bring balance to the squad in his likely last season in the league?

"We haven't set anything in stone and I've talked about it before," he said about retirement, according to Sport's Illustrated. "But could this be the last [season]? Absolutely. It's tough to decide. It's really tough to make those types of decisions. Players I have spoken to say, 'Kobe you will know.' There are no question marks on what I can do. My body and my legs feel extremely strong and healthy," Bryant said. "That's the big difference. My upper body, I've been doing the weights and stuff like that. I've been kind of building up the upper body strength. The biggest change is I feel very, very solid in my legs."
