R&B singer Rihanna got injured in an attack on her in a London club by a man who was not happy with the singer dating Chris Brown, Feb. 16.

She was spotted coming out of the London club with a small injury. It was alleged that the singer was assaulted when a fan threw a bottle at Rihanna and screamed about her boyfriend Chris Brown, said witnesses.

Though the bottle did not hit her, she was injured in the confusion when she fell on a metal grate and had a small cut on her knee. Rihanna's bodyguard tried to catch him and injured himself in the process, said Media Take Out.

Rihanna was in London to launch her new clothing line for the London Fashion Week. She was enjoying clubbing with British fashion model, Cara Delevingne but sadly she got attacked.

A source told ContactMusic that Brown was "hurt" by this incident.

''It's f**ked up someone would do that to Rihanna, and mention Chris in the same sentence. He's hurt over stuff like that. He loves Rihanna, that's his girl and he doesn't want anybody messing with her like that. All Chris wants out of the whole situation is to make sure Rihanna is okay and she is - so that's the most important. Chris doesn't know exactly what happened, but Ri told him she was cool with all this drama. People are crazy out there and try to f**k with people just because they're a 'celebrity.' They need to get a life.''

Rihanna has been taking some criticism of late for her pictures in social networking sites.

"Rihanna makes me feel sick the way she exposes drugs all over Instagram, like young girls don't follow her. Do it in private," tweeted a user named Connie Priestley.
