Season 2 of The Strain continues on FX. Based on Guillermo Del Toro's bestselling novels, published by Dark Horse Comics, in Episode 11, are Ephraim Goodweather (Corey Stoll) and Nora Martinez (Mia Maestro) get caught in a Dead End?

Dutch (Ruta Gedmintas) is trapped in her prison cell when Thomas Eichorst (Richard Sammel) murders a police officer in front of her. Elsewhere, Abraham (David Bradley) wakes up from unconsciousness and finds himself tied up in a chair. He remembers the boy he rescued from his younger days.

Thomas tells Dutch that she reminds him of a woman he never could have. After Thomas locks her in, he remembers when he used to be a radio salesman. Unfortunately, his sell goes terribly wrong and returns back to the office a failure. His bad luck turns around after he asks a co-worker out to dinner.

Gus (Miguel Gomez) is in the middle of sex with Anya when Vasiliy Fet (Kevin Durand) arrives at the Mayfield hotel. With so much military presence, Eph and Mia aren't even sure how they can break in. Silver Angel (Joaquin Cosio)wants to fight with Gus but he needs to protect Anya's family until they reach checkpoint.

Nora and the others spot an empty police in the middle of the stairs. Fet discovers an opening to the hotel and lead the others. Still tied up, Abraham tries to convince the buyer to give him the Occido Lumen but he leaves the room.

At the checkpoint, a woman in leather arrives with a letter for the security guard. Gus kisses Anya goodbye as Silver Angel walks out with him. While cutting pineapples, Thomas remembers having dinner with his co-worker. The two end up kissing, which takes Thomas by surprise. At the party, Thomas listens as a Nazi officer promotes his party but she doesn't want to listen to his propaganda.

Knowing Germany wants him, Thomas has found purpose but the woman he's dating is Jewish. She breaks up with him on the spot and walks away. Dutch refuses to have any of the pineapples and slaps it out of his hand. Thomas then slaps her around and forces her to eat the slices.

Thomas then orders Dutch to remove her pants. He then paints her lips red and tells her to spend her legs. As she bends over, Dutch then sprays mace all over his face. She discovers the hallways have been boarded up with bricks. Eph and the others are all the way down  in the subway as Thomas cleans up his face and takes out his contact.

Dutch continues to run as Thomas chases after her. While running down the stairs, Dutch ends up in another dead end. Nora and the others then hear her screaming. Fet digs away at the brick wall but Thomas has Dutch in his hands.

After Fet blows up the brick wall, Thomas ducks after a silver grenade is thrown. Eph and Nora search for Thomas but he is nowhere to be seen. As Thomas escapes, he remembers his true love being held hostage. He smiles and lies about his relationship with her.

After being praised and feared by the community, Thomas discovers his true love hanging. Fet takes care of Nora as she weeps in the car ride.

Alonso (Jamie Hector) now has the ancient book in his hands.
