It was the most buzzed about reality show on the planet before its premiere earlier this summer.  So what happened with Caitlyn Jenner's series I Am Cait? While Jenner has been a staple of reality TV for the better part of the last decade, starring in Keeping Up With the Kardashians for the last 10 seasons, the star then decided to pursue her own spinoff show, which was set to discuss her transformation from Bruce to Caitlyn. However, the ratings for the show haven't been so stellar since it debuted in July, and it could be taking a toll on the way that Jenner sees reality TV. Should the show be cancelled, many are thinking that Jenner will call it quits with regards to reality TV altogether.

There are conflicting reports; however, of just what will happen should I Am Cait be cancelled.  According to Radar Online, Jenner could possibly be staying put at the network and on reality TV with a possible new series that will follow the lives of Jenner and her pals.

"There are talks with Caitlyn and Candis Cayne, as well as a few of their friends for a new upcoming show, and E! should have something solid in place after the fall season," an insider explained to the news site.

However, Unreality UK is reporting that the show will only go ahead if Jenner decides to go through with it, and at this point it doesn't seem likely that she will decide to pursue it.  Reports are claiming that the series created a pretty big wedge between Jenner and her family, especially since the program was on the same network as KUWTK.

"To have her on the same network that KUWTK is on caused more trouble than it was worth because it gave her the platform to air out all of her dirty laundry," an insider explained. "I Am Cait really pushed Caitlyn further away from her family than she had ever wanted."

As for her kids, according to InTouch Weekly, they are "glad that the show is finally off the air and that it is over."
