The icon Sting main-evented his first WWE Pay-Per-View in his 29-year career as a professional wrestler. His match with Seth Rollins had all the makings to be a classic but a neck injury he sustained close to the end of it put a hamper on that. At one point in the match Sting could barely stand on his own and it may have happened during the table spot where Seth Rollins pushed the wrestler onto the Spanish announce table. Upon impact, with the televisions still mounted, the table shattered right below him.

You can watch the video of Sting falling through the table below:

Right now it is unknown how long Sting will be out. His Facebook page gave an update and doctors are hoping that due to his excellent conditioning, he'll have a speed recovery.

"Sting has kept his body in excellent shape, due largely to the guidance he's received from his personal trainer, Jeff Cavaliere (ATHLEAN-X), and we trust this will prove beneficial to the recovery process. As a side note, we later learned the greatest damage to his body took place before the match was over, but being the true professional he is and among the hardest workers to ever step foot in the ring, he insisted to see the match through to the end."

TMZ Sports got the results for Sting's CAT scan and he sustained no fractures. He was released Monday and able to walk but he was in a lot of pain.

Sting was supposed to be at Raw but that clearly wasn't the case. For now it looks like he'll be recovering for the time being.

When do you think Sting will make his return back to the WWE?
