The September 23, 2015 episode of WWE's NXT airs on the WWE Network and features the debut of Japanese superstar Asuka, as well as an NXT Tag Team Championship match. We've got the full results of the show, so let's get right into it.

The show begins with Eva Marie, who comes out to a chorus of boos. We see the controversy from a few weeks ago in which Eva Marie seemingly forgot to kick out before three, so the referee just stopped counting. But WWE tries to use this to its advantage by having Eva thank the referee for recognizing that her shoulders weren't down and for not caving into the "biased" fan base.

Carmella comes out for a match with Eva, and Miss All Red Everything wins by countout. They run a spot right before this when Eva again "doesn't kick out at three" only this time her foot was on the ropes. The camera angle didn't show this at first.

Tyler Breeze faces Bull Dempsey for the first time since they scuffled a few weeks ago following their loss as a team in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic tournament. Breeze controls most of the match, though Dempsey gets a second wind and rallies. Breeze gets the win when he puts his feet on the ropes to get leverage on the pin.

General Manager William Regal welcomes Japanese female star Kana, who will be known as Asuka in WWE, to the ring. Asuka is enthusiastic and excited to be in NXT, and she says she wants to become NXT Women's Champion. She officially signs her contract, at which point Emma and Dana Brooke come to the ring. Regal says they are being rude, and they start talking to Asuka as if she doesn't speak English. Emma says they are the bosses of NXT, and Brooke tells her she needs to play nice or else her career will be over before it starts. They instruct her to leave the ring, which she does slowly. She glares at the two women from the ramp.

We learn that Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson upset the NXT Tag Team Champions, The Vaudevillains, in the second round of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. Finn Balor and Samoa Joe will face Enzo Amore and Big Cass next week, while The Hype Bros (Zack Ryder and Mojo Rawley) will face Jason Jordan and Chad Gable to determine who will face Rhyno and Baron Corbin in the semifinals.

The Vaudevillains retain their NXT Tag Team Championships against Wesley Blake and Buddy Murphy when they connect with the Whirling Dervish. Alexa Bliss was at ringside to start the match, and she quickly got involved by grabbing Simon Gotch's ankle. But Blue Pants sprinted out and chased Alexa away to even the playing field.
