Starz Channel's 'Trapped' Cast: Mila Kunis Joins Rob Zombie, Joey Slamon Pilot!

Starz Channel is looking into building the cast and crew of their horror/drama, Trapped. Created by Joey Slamon (Arrested Development), actress Mila Kunis (Ted) and musician/filmmaker Rob Zombie (Halloween) are attached to the pilot in development.

As we previously mentioned, the Lords of Salem director has been working on his latest horror project, 31. The plot follows five strangers who have been kidnapped five days before Halloween. Each abductee must now survive in "Murder World" by playing the game "31." As the countdown starts, a group of killer clowns, known as "The Heads," are suddenly thrown into the mix to increase the body count.

According to Deadline, Starz has put in of a half-hour horror comedy series. The Family Guy voice actress will be serving as executive producer, on behalf of her own production company, Orchard Farm Productions. The House of 1,0000 Corpses filmmaker is attached to direct as well as executive producing.

Written by Slamon, the narrative takes places over a single night. The location is set in the home of a wealthy family. As the hours goes by, the wealthy family suddenly find themselves under attack by a murderous cult.

Starz Managing Director Carmi Zlotnik states, "We're excited to work in partnership with Rob Zombie as well as Mila Kunis and her Orchard Farm Productions associates Susan Curtis, Cami Curtis and Lisa Sterbakov on this horror comedy series."

Starz continues with the horror genre, especially with the Ash vs. Evil Dead series. After hiding from the events of Evil Dead and Evil Dead II: Dead by Dawn, Ash (Bruce Campbell) has gotten old and fat. The lone survivor is suddenly forced to do battle against the army of deadites one more time. Campbell returns for the continuation, alongside Lucy Lawless (Xena: Warrior Princess) as Ruby; Ray Santiago (Bad Judge) as Ash's unfortunate sidekick Pablo, Dana Delorenzo (Barely Famous) as Kelly, and Jill Marie Jones (Sleepy Hollow) as state trooper Amanda.
