Author Karrine Steffans says that she thinks Meek Mill was very immature when he slammed Drake for having a ghost writer and believes the "OVO" rapper's "Charged Up" and "Back To Back" diss track were very similar to Nas's "Ether" diss track to Jay Z.

In an interview with Vlad TV, the woman notoriously known for her scandalous relationship and her tell-all books gave her opinion on the whole rap beef stating that she thinks Meek should stop being too emotional via social media while looking for validation, "As a grown man you don't need another grown man to validate your existence by tweeting out your stuff, and if he doesn't do it then you get upset. It's just really...I don't know. I guess kids in junior high might be going through the same thing," she says. "To me, if that is part of the root of how the Meek Mill/Drake thing happened, that in itself is...How old is Meek? Is he young? He seems very young."

Although, Meek and Drake are both 28-years-old, she thinks Drake is very mature over the Philly rap star and thinks the rapper didn't need anyone's support on social media to help his album, which landed number one on the charts without any extra assistance, "It's no one else's job to push your album," she explains. "That's the thing: you stand on your own merit, you just get s*** done, and you don't ask anybody for anything. The work speaks for itself."

In a previous interview with Vlad, the former video vixen said she didn't think there was anything wrong with rappers having ghostwriters, "Recalled being in the studio with the rap star while listening to Drake's sample verse for the New Orleans native and later hearing his version, "Wayne told me that Drake had written some things for him and I was in the studio with Wayne listening to something that Drake had written because Wayne can't write like that and he'll be honest about it. He only writes a certain way."
