The Miami Heat vs. Chicago Bulls battle it out on the court at the United Center in Chicago on Thursday, Feb. 21 at 8:00 p.m. ET. According to NBA.com sports columnist John Schuhmann, "Two days after passing the Thunder for the No. 1 spot in offensive efficiency, the Heat beat OKC for the sixth straight time. With a seven-game winning streak, they've got the most comfortable lead atop the East that they've had all season. But it would be nice if they could win a game against the Bulls, Knicks or Pacers. They visit both Chicago and New York in the next two weeks."

Meanwhile, the Bulls are ranked no 2 in the Eastern Central Conference and currently hold the no 9 spot in the 2012-2013 NBA Regular Season this week (out of 30 teams) with 31 wins and 22 losses. As Schuhmann points out, "Derrick Rose is the future of the franchise (the future of the league, really), and he's not going to be 100 percent this season anyway, so every precaution should be taken in regard to his return to the floor. But the Eastern Conference playoffs would be a lot more fun if the always-tough and resilient Bulls had their star in the lineup, even if he's not yet back to being his explosive self."
