'Teen Mom 2' Kailyn Lowry Divorce Shocker: She & Javi Agreed To Split Custody of Lincoln!

Teen Mom 2 star Kailyn Lowry is finally in a good place with husband Javi Marroquin, but even with all of their fighting throughout this season on the hit reality series they still kept from fans just how close they were to getting divorced. On the shocking reunion special, the MTV couple talked about their plan for getting out of the marriage.

One of the new pieces of information that we learned was that Kailyn and Javi already agreed to get divorced and even laid out custody arrangement for son Lincoln so they could avoid a bitter court battle.

"We came up with an agreement with Lincoln," Javi told Dr. Drew, via Us Weekly. "We were going to go our separate ways."

The reality dad then took some of the blame for their crumbling marriage by explaining why their relationship wasn't working.

"I was at such a low point in my life where it was hard for me to see anything clearly," Javi said. "There were times when me and Kail didn't see each other throughout the day. I think not seeing her and everything else that was going on, our fighting, it really got to me."

As MStars News reported, the Delaware pair recently celebrated their 3^rd wedding anniversary even though they almost didn't even make it. Kailyn took to Instagram where she put up a photo of a dog-tag with a picture of her and Javi on it. The inscription read, "We've cried, We've laughed, We've smiled."

The Love & Lowry designer wrote for the caption, "Happy 3rd wedding anniversary to my best friend! Despite an extremely tough year for the two of us, we've made it. And I know we will always get through any trying times we will face in the future. Sept. 5th, 2012."
