Diana Ross Pregnant at 71? Singer Laughs Off Rumor!

Is Diana Ross pregnant at the age of 71? Social Media had a field day this week when mysterious photos emerged on the web showing the legendary singer carrying a very round bump around. The rumor was quickly shut down when Ross laughed off the gossip.

According to the Inquisitr, Ross isn't pregnant. The site claims that Ross' bump seen while she was shopping in Los Angeles on Tuesday isn't a baby bump, just some extra pounds. A source close to the singer claims that she actually laughed at the gossip and said that the pregnancy news is "not true."

"In fact, the supposed baby bump is likely just the product of an unflattering photo of natural, and forgivable, weight gain," Inquisitr noted.  This lines up with it being normal for many elderly women to gain a hard bump of weight around their middle as they age, regardless of overall weight or build.

Looks like Ross will only be singing "Baby Love" to her new granddaughter, Jagger Snow.

In the snapshot above, Ross was spotted out and about wearing all black but one thing was very noticeable, her midsection. Normally black would make you look similar but in this case, Ross' belly was definitely on display. Some social media users believed that Ross was pregnant and even carrying a child for one of her daughters.

Ross just became a grandmother once again when her son Evan Ross and his wife, Ashlee Simpson welcomed a baby girl over the summer. Hard to imagine a grandmother about to give birth all over again, but it's possible. Remember, Father of the Bride II?

In other Ross news, her daughter, Black-ish star, Tracee Ellis Ross appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres Show Wednesday where she revealed some things about her famous mother. During a game with Kim Kardashian West it appeared that Tracee was "miss goody two shoes" when she grew up in the Ross home.
