Rihanna Loves Chris Brown, Not Dating? Ex-Boyfriend Drama 'Until Death,' No Relationship

Will Rihanna ever get back together with controversial ex-boyfriend, Chris Brown? Probably not, but the "BBHMM" songstress will always care for her former hip-hop beau, no matter what.

In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, RiRi admits that despite nonstop drama, Breezy will always hold a tender spot in her heart:

"I don't hate him... I will care about him until the day I die. We're not friends, but it's not like we're enemies. We don't have much of a relationship now."

Obviously, rumors suggesting that Chrianna continues "reuniting" in private are totally false. But the 27-year-old Barbadian beauty will always support the "Loyal" crooner, almost blatantly ignoring his rather violent past:

"I was very protective of him," she explains. "I felt that people didn't understand him. Even after" (referring to the couple's domestic violence altercation back in 2009).

So after several years Rih finally learned that toxic romances just don't work - but clearly her feelings for 26-year-old Brown still hold strong. Therefore, it might take some more time before the "FourFiveSeconds" superstar can indulge in another serious relationship. How about that, Travis Scott? RiRi insists that Breezy was her last "real boyfriend," so...

Surprisingly, Breezy has yet to emotionally respond on Instagram. But he did just release a new song with fellow rapper Rick Ross entitled "Sorry." Interesting...
