Selena Gomez Dating Rumors: Disney Star Not Dating Hunter Hayes, But Are Just Friends

Singer and former Disney star Selena Gomez is rumored to be dating country singer Hunter Hayes. The rumors erupted after Gomez was spotted exchanging numbers with the star at a Los Angeles concert. But they are not dating says a report in EntertainmentWise.

"The couple are not dating as they do not know each other well," claim sources close the couple, said HollywoodLife.

"They are not dating and nobody should expect that they will be a couple ever or anytime soon. Strictly friendly at best!" said an insider to HollywoodLife.

Though Hayes might have been eyeing Gomez, he is sure to face stiff competition from none other than Gomez's ex-boyfriend, pop idol Justin Bieber, who wants to win her back. Bieber and Gomez fell apart before the New Year celebration when they were vacationing in Mexico after a big argument.

But Bieber was reported to have been spotted with a mystery date at a Justin Timberlake gig in London. The girl was later identified as 17-year-old aspiring singer, Ella-Paige Roberts-Clarke. Bieber and his date were not photographed together. Some reports suggest that Bieber did this to get Gomez's attention. But Gomez seems like least interested.

There was also media speculation that Bieber and Gomez might meet up since both are in Europe. Gomez is promoting her new movie, "Spring Breakers." But the reunion does not look like a possibility, EntertainmentWise reported.
