"Former" Basketball Wives L.A. reality star, Brandi Maxiell says that she isn't proud of calling her boss-turned cast mate, Shaunie O'Neal a "bitch" after their heated exchange the finale.

According to HipHollywood, the star hinted that she was in deep water and the outburst was caused from her emotions, "As far as calling her a b*tch, that's not my proudest moment. I was a little irritated at that moment."

Earlier, Brandi explained that she doesn't answer well to authority and that may have triggered the backlash, "handle authority too well and I don't like people telling me what to do ... I just hope everything plays out the way that it was so people can understand where I came from," she told Hiphollywood.

During the season finale, things got a little awkward when Brandi slammed her boss in front of the rest of their cast mates when she singled her out for her "better than thou" attitude, "At the end of the day you act like your better and you have this snobby a** attitude and your treat us with disrespect... you can pull the card of what you have, what your last name is, your EP credentials and its disrespect." She yelled," You are a b*tch!"

With a straight face, Shaunie looked at her and subtly said, "Thank you for your services." Dismissing her from the table, "Thank you," she said as the girls looked in shock.

Ina series of tweets, Brandi hinted that Shaunie' s couldn't make the executive decision to get rid of her from the show and that she did work for executive producer, "If someone can talk about my character and say what they want then I should be able to as well," Maxiell wrote. "I don't care. No one is going to insult me. I don't WORK FOR NO ONE."

"No shade...BUT if someone had so much power I'm pretty sure you wouldn't have seen a couple ladies on our Franchise."
