Prosecutor Juan Martinez grilled murder defendant Jodi Arias and tried to prove his case by Arias' slip up through her testimony. Martinez believed that she contradicted everything she said with evidence of text messages and coded magazines that could terminate her claims of an sexually abusive relationship.

Throughout her testimony, Arias had a memory lapse and suddenly could not recall majority of killing her former lover, Travis Alexander. Martinez asked, "Do you have a problem with memory?" The killer could only recall shooting her former boyfriend, but not stabbing him 27 times and slitting his throat, "Whatever you told us in the past is somewhat suspect because your memory may be lacking, right?" Martinez said.

The prosecutor then showed a interview video footage of her talking to police about her damaged left finger. The killer created a story and never mentioned that Alexander caused any harm to her. Martinez told the court that she is a habitual liar lying to friends, family, and herself in her diary, "When do you decide to tell the truth," Martinez said.

Arias gave reason for her memory los saying, "When I am under stress it affects my memory."

Martinez later asked Arias, "When do you have a memory problem? What factors influence you having a memory problem?" Arias replied in a steady voice: "Usually when men like you are screaming at me...or someone like Travis doing the same. It makes my brain scramble."

The prosecutors then pulled out "Star Magazine" which she had coded and desperately try to give a woman named Ann Campbell on Aug. 4, 2011. Guards checked the magazine and found hidden numbers that lead to pages and notes that said, "You testify so... We can fix this....Directly contradicts what I have been saying for over a year," and venomously: "You f**ked up what you told my attorney the next day."

Arias had more notes that read: "Interview was excellent... Get down here a.s.a.p. and see me before you talk to them again."
