'Empire' Actress Serayah McNeill, 'Ambition' Rapper Wale Reportedly Dating

Wale and Serayah McNeill may be a hot new industry couple. The Ambition rapper is apparently dating the Empire actress and reports say that the Maybach Music signee and Fox series star have been seeing each other since June.

Entertainment Tonight first broke the news revealing the two as a couple. At the moment, Wale currently resides in Los Angeles, but visits Chicago frequently, the same city where Empire films most of its scenes.

Even though Serayah has been moving heavily to promote the current second season of the series, her and her new rapper boo are reportedly making sure to see each other at least every few weeks. The two have yet to confirm their relationship themselves, or make a public appearance together. Earlier in September, Serayah tweeted out Wale’s latest single, “Spoiled,” featuring a set of prayer hands as a way to show her support for the song.

These two could make a great couple, especially now that both their careers are taking off. With the popularity of Empire, Serayah’s buzz is quickly increasing. She was even featured in Taylor Swift’s highly-anticipated “Bad Blood” earlier this year, alongside some other big names.

Wale released his third studio album, The Album About Nothing back in the beginning of the year, which featured monologues and commentary from Jerry Seinfeld. Both of them have become close friends during the process of making the album. The project used the theme from the comedian’s hit 90’s sitcom, Seinfeld, which Wale has frequently noted to be one of his favorite television shows. He has previously used the same theme for one of his former mixtapes, The Mixtape About Nothing, which garnered tons of downloads and popularity.
