While most breakups bring heartache and pain, it seems that in the case of Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton, the "Somethin' Bad" singer is channeling her pain into hard work. The country crooner might have been devastated when her four-year marriage to fellow country star Shelton ended back in July, but it seems that two months later, she is happier than ever. In fact, the Nashville resident is claiming that she has never been happier, or more at home in her life.

According to Radar Online, the star has put her hardships behind her and is focused on embracing a new chapter of her life, one that includes a slot on the Music City Walk of Fame, in Nashville. Not only that but the star is opening up and stating that she has been channeling her emotions into her work and she is thinking that it might be her best writing yet.

"[I have] never felt more inspired," the star explained to PEOPLE at the ceremony on Tuesday, Oct. 6.

She also says that taking some time off to focus on herself has really been beneficial to her overall well-being:

"This has been my first summer off the road in years, and I wrote every day," the starlet explained to the news site. "I feel more a part of Nashville than I ever have. I feel so at home here and so happy, and I am thrilled to have my name on the Music City Walk of Fame."

As for getting the honor of having her name on the Walk of Fame, Lambert expressed just how grateful she is that she gets to live a life doing what she loves.

"This is such an honor. Thank you for letting me live this amazing life. I love it so much," the star explained to the news site.

As for her ex, Shelton is claiming that he is in a good place, according to Entertainment Tonight, but that it was a long road to get there.
