'The X-Files' Revival: David Duchovny's Fox Mulder Gets 2015 New York Comic Con Poster?

Back by popular demand, Fox will premiere an exclusive promo of the iconic sci-fi/horror series. In the revival of The X-Files, will paranormal investigators (David Duchovny) and Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson) end up in a new poster at the 2015 New York Comic Con?

As we previously mentioned,13 years have passed since FBI agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully were on the TV screen solving weird and supernatural cases. The reboot of Fox's popular sci-fi series continues with an all-new 6 episode arc. Not only are the leads back to reprise their iconic roles, creator Chris Carter will takeover as showrunner for the franchise that launched his and many other careers.

As we mentioned before, Fox will screen the premiere premiere episode, entitled My Struggle. After the advanced screening, New York Comic Con will host a Q&A session with David Duchovny and Chris Carter. The panel will be moderated by Silicon Valley star Kumail Nanjiani. The exclusive screening and panel will occur Saturday, October 10.

According to CNet, a new promo poster was unveiled for attendees at the MIPCOM television conference in Cannes. The promo poster reminds us readers of the tagline that made the show famous, "The truth is still out there." During the screening of the first episode, the crowd cheered as they heard the popular theme music to the untouched opening credits.

Carter tells The Hollywood Reporter, "We thought about doing some changes to the original credits, but then it seemed like sacrilege. Those credits were on 202 episodes. They belong on these next six."

The X-Files returns with a special two-night event beginning Sunday, January 24, 2016, following the NFC Championship Game. The event continues Monday, January 25, 2016 (8pm).
