Matt Barnes, Rihanna Dating Rumors: Allegedly Beat Up Derek Fisher Over Gloria Govan?

It looks like Matt Barnes may not be focused on his claims of dating Rihanna after he allegedly beat up New York Knicks coach Derek Fisher over his estranged wife, Gloria Govan! MStars News has learned just a few days ago, Barnes claimed that he had a fling with Ri-Ri, but is apparently still in love with Govan according to rumors.

According to Hollywood Life, Barnes told his side of the story and claimed that he hooked up with the 27-year-old singer. Barnes, 35, has never been spotted with Ri-Ri, but still says that he and Chris Brown's ex had a relationship.

MStars News previously reported that Barnes told TMZ cameras that they were "just friends, and had just passed the crush stage." Rihanna clapped back and slammed those rumors. But earlier this month, he was asked about Rihanna again by TMZ cameras where he stayed true to his story and said: "I'm too grown to lie."

It seems Barnes may not be focused on what he thought he had with Rihanna after driving 95 miles to kick his former teammate's butt for dating his estranged wife.

According to the New York Post, Barnes left his team's California training camp over the weekend and made a trip to his former home he once shared with Govan to confront Derek Fisher. Sources claimed that Barnes and Govan's 6-year-old twin sons, Carter and Isaiah, called and told their father that Fisher was in their home.

"Barnes went crazy. He got in his car and went to the house and went after Fisher," a source explained. "Matt then drove down there to beat the s-t out of him."

After the alleged fight, Barnes texted a friend and claimed that he brawled with Fisher and spit in his ex's face. "I kicked his ass from the back yard to the front room, and spit in her face," the source claimed the text stated.

A source in Fisher's camp claimed that a fight did happen, and said that the altercation wasn't as big as it seems.

"Matt came after Derek, but he only had a few scratches," that source said of Fisher. "Derek's not going to press charges; he's going to let it go."

As for Govan, she's working on a restraining order against her estranged husband. Following the drama, everyone took to social media to go in on the lovers' quarrel.
