Reports confirm that WWE star Jack Swagger was arrested in Mississippi on Tuesday evening (Feb. 19) for a DUI. The 30-year-old professional wrestler was also busted for marijuana possession after police found weed in the vehicle. Swagger was taken into custody and later released on his own recognizance. The former World Heavyweight Champion's arrest has already led to some negative repercussions - WWE has pulled the popular wrestler from this coming weekend's scheduled events. Swagger's participation in Wrestlemania 29 still remains up in the air.

According to TMZ, Swagger (real name, Donald Jacob Hager, Jr.) was arrested for a DUI, but the charges were totally unrelated to alcohol. After searching the vehicle, Gulfport police found marijuana in Swagger's possession. He was initially pulled over for speeding. Reports confirm that Swagger had just left a WWE "Smackdown" taping at Mississippi Coast Coliseum in Biloxi when he was shortly pulled over and arrested.

The Wrestle Zone reports that Swagger will not wrestle at this weekend's WWE events. Rumors have it that because of his illegal actions, Swagger may ultimately be pulled from Wrestlemania 29. As of now, he is still scheduled to fight on Raw next week and to tape Smackdown on Tuesday (Feb. 26).

According to a report in the Asheville Citizen, Swagger currently faces monetary fines of up to $1000, this being his first DUI offense. He could also lose his driver's license for 90 days.

The biggest blow to Swagger's career will be if he is ultimately pulled from Wrestlemania 29. Swagger, who is expected to defeat reigning World Heavyweight Champion Albeto Del Rio, could allegedly lose up to a whopping $250,000 if pulled. The highly-anticipated WWE event is scheduled for April 7, 2013.

In a statement released to TMZ, a spokesman for WWE claimed that "Mr. Swagger is responsible for his own personal actions."
