Megyn Kelly could not care less about Donald Trump – even after that alleged "period" comment the Republican frontrunner made. In fact, it seems she's cool with him eventually coming on her Fox News show, The Kelly File.

In a new interview with Charlie Rose, Kelly admitted that she never wanted to kick off a war with the former Celebrity Apprentice star. She did say, however, that should he ever come on her show she would want it to be at the right moment.

"I'm sure he'll come back on eventually," she said to Rose. Kelly then admitted that having Donald Trump on her show would probably be "a big moment."

"I think we have to handle that just right," she added, noting that if Trump were to show his face on her program, the network would have to carefully plan it out and not "just pop him in there" like they tend to do with other presidential candidates.

Why? Well, the anticipation, of course.

Politics aside, she's probably right – Trump most likely has zero regrets in regards to his comment.

Trump famously made comments, on air, about Megyn Kelly after the first Republican debate. During such, the journalist asked him about his comments regarding women in the past, and if they are deemed presidential.

The billionaire later claimed that he could see the blood coming out of her, and further said there was blood coming out of her "wherever."

Which, yeah, wasn't the best of ideas. Then again, this is Donald Trump we're talking about and the idea of holding back isn't really one of his strong points.

Of course, that does seem to be working for him in the polls, doesn't it, folks?
