The world is pretty pissed at Republican hopeful Ben Carson. And on Wednesday night's episode of The Daily Show, host Trevor Noah wasted no time in tearing the presidential candidate apart. In fact, some might say he "eviscerated" him—much in the way Jon Stewart used to do to everyone, according to all publications ever.

Carson has been (understandably) taking some heat for comments he's made about mass shootings – more so in the way he said it, actually – in which he placed the responsibility for taking down the shooters on the victims themselves. In fact, Carson explains in the below video that what he would do, should he ever be in that situation, is tell everyone around to attack the shooter if the gun was aimed at him.

This way, only one person dies and the attacker is thus taken down.

Noah, like many, found this to be shocking news largely because Carson's way of holding himself is, well, not really as active as his words seem to be.

"You know what I also don't get," Noah said, "is that Ben Carson really thinks that he could rally people against a mass shooter. I think he's overestimating how inspiring his presence might be."

Whether or not Ben Carson appears in the upcoming season premiere of AMC's The Walking Dead is unclear at this time.

Note: he's not really in it, readers.

So, Carson's comments on mass shootings – thoughts?

How about the fact that he could very well be a zombie?
