Three 6 Mafia Mourns Koopsta Knicca's Death: Juicy J, DJ Paul & Gangsta Boo Tweet On Loss

Three 6 Mafia rapper, Koopsta Knicca, 40, was died Friday after suffering an aneurysm. Juicy J, Gangsta Boo and DJ Paul tweet about their loss.

The Memphis rap star's Facebook page released a statement on behalf of his close family and friends, "To all who are concerned Robert Cooper Phillips aka Koopsta Knicca has officially left us all. This is a great lost to us all. We will continue to keep him alive with his music."

Group member, DJ Paul kept fans posted on the artist's condition after fans suspect he was dead. Tuesday, DJ Paul posted a photo of the his group member telling fans in the caption, "Pray For My Brother@koopstaknicca36 In The Hospital Now!!! Serious Operation!!! #M4L."

Koopsta kept fans abreast for days until getting direct confirmation from his doctors. He told fans, "Dr. Confirmed With Me That @koopstaknicca36 Passed This Morning at 12:55am. You Will Be Missed My Brother!!! Love U Koop!!!#ripkoopstaknicca."

Mourning group member, Juicy J also posted a photo of the late rapper on his Instagram page stating, "R.I.P koopsta Knicca we made history! You will be missed #mafia4lifeprayers up for the family."
