'Agent Carter' Season 2 Spoilers: Hayley Atwell, James D'Arcy, Dominic Cooper 2015 NYCC Return

Joining Season 3 of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Marvel's Agent Carter returns for Season 2 on ABC. Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) reunites with her sidekick, Edwin Jarvis (James D'Arcy) and co-star Howard Stark (Dominic Cooper) for the 2015 New York Comic Con.

As we previously mentioned, the second season plot synopsis follows, Carter had become dedicated to the fight against new atomic age threats in the wake of World War II. Peggy must now journey from New York City to Los Angeles for her most dangerous assignment yet. But even as she discovers new friends, a new home, and maybe even a new love, Carter is about to find out that the bright lights of the post-war Hollywood mask a more sinister threat to everyone she is sworn to protect."

We also mentioned, Marvel Television has announced their official lineup for New York Comic Con. One panel will be devoted to the Marvel ABC series, Agents of SHIELD and Agent Carter. During the panel, a new SHIELD episode will be screened for attendees.

According to Variety, Wynn Everett has landed the role of Whitney Frost, better known as the villainous Madame Masque, Executive producers Tara Butters, Michele Fazekas and Chris Dingess state, "Inspired by Hollywood icons like Hedy Lamarr and Lauren Bacall, we knew we needed an actor who was classically glamorous and fiercely intelligent. Wynn is both, and we're thrilled to watch her bring this formidable character to life."

Lotte Verbeek joins as Ana Jarvis, and Currie Graham is Whitney's high-powered businessman husband Calvin Chadwick. Reggie Austin will play Jason Wilkes, a quirky scientist who charms Peggy. Not only will Howard Stark, so will Dottie Underwood (Bridget Regan)

As transcribed by Comic Book Resources, Marvel Head of Television Jeph Loeb states, "Agent Carter returns this year and we couldn't be happier. Two of our most popular characters are Peggy Carter and Edward Jarvis. They are currently filming in Los Angeles."

In the preview presented to attendees, Edwin Jarvis demonstrates some of the "special" functions on one of Howard Stark's cars. Peggy isn't too impressed by th pop-out champagne bottle and a fully reclining seat.

No premiere date has been announced for the second season of Marvel's Agent Carter.
