The Season 5B trailer of MTV's Teen Wolf premiered at the 2015 New York Comic Con along with a teaser of upcoming spoilers for fans to enjoy. Teen Wolf stars, Tyler Posey, Dylan Sprayberry and Cody Christian attended the event and shared details about this season's big bad guy, The Beast.

"The name itself tells what this monster creature is. It's a beast," Christian said.

"It's ominous. It's scary. But there's not much we can say. Part of it is because we don't know much about it, as actors," Posey added.

In the first promotional trailer of the season, Scott (Posey) and Stiles (Dylan O'Brien) are still fighting and Theo (Christian) appears to be offering a truce to Scott as they prepare to fight a mutual enemy.

"Your pack and mine, we're going to be fighting for our lives," Theo says.

The trailer also teases a moment where Malia (Shelley Hennig) and Scott face a monster, who Malia believes will be the end of them both. However, Scott alludes to there being help on the way and with that Chris Argent (J.R. Bourne) returns armed and ready.

Last season ended on a dark cliffhanger, leaving fans craving the second installment of Season 5. Creator, Jeff Davis, dove into the details surrounding the cliffhanger in an interview at New York Comic Con.

"The end of Episode 20 will be a very big high note. It will be Scott and his pack back together. We wanted to end on a down note [with 5a]. This was our kind of like Empire Strikes Back ending," said Davis. "We were very clear about wanting to have a real midpoint low in the middle of this season."

Teen Wolf's Season 5B premieres Jan. 5 at 9 p.m. on MTV.
