The Grizzlies head into Sunday evening's game as the no 2 team in the Western Southwest Conference of the Division Regular Season with 36 wins and 18 losses. According to New York Daily News sports columnist Mitch Lawrence, "The Grizzlies have started to figure things out since trading Rudy Gay to Toronto, as they've won five straight games."

The Nets are currently ranked 2nd in the Eastern Atlantic Conference, coming in right behind the New York Knicks. Brooklyn currently holds the overall no 10 spot (out of 30 teams) with 33 wins and 23 losses. As Lawrence points out, "No way they were going to wind up with Josh Smith. They didn't have enough assets to get the Hawks even remotely interested."

The game will be broadcasted live on ESPN, but fans can also listen in on the radio at WNSR, ESPN 92.9, ESPN 98.7, and WFAN 660.
