A lot of celebrities went home big with the golden man and nearly left emotional speeches lingering into the next day with memorable embarrassing moments. Ben Affleck, Jennifer Lawrence, and Daniel Day-Lewis were among the few big winners that made their mark in Oscar history - and not just for winning either.
Jennifer Lawrence took home an Oscar for best actress for her leading role in "Silver Linings." The overwhelmed actress keeps having award show mishaps as she continues to grace the stage accepting numerous awards. Previously, the actress, had a wardrobe malfunction at the 2013 SAG awards, but during what may be her biggest night ever, the actress fell up the steps in her Dior gown and became flustered as she received an ovation and explained the embarrassing trip and fall on live television in front of her peers, "Thank you. You guys are just standing up because you feel bad that I fell and that's really embarrassing but thank you."
Daniel Day-Lewis won best actor for his role in Lincoln as the 16th President and took the time out to get a few laughs poking fun at his award presenter Meryl Streep, "Meryl was Steven's first choice for Lincoln. I'd like to see that version."
Finally, First Lady Michelle Obama presented the Best Picture award via satellite from the White House to "Argo" directed by Ben Affleck. The director/ actor cried as he thanked everyone saying, "I never thought that I would be back here," he said, "and I am. Because of so many of you who are here tonight. Because of this academy. Because of so many wonderful people who extended themselves to me when they had nothing to benefit from it."
The happy actor began chocking up as he looked onto his wife, Jennifer Garner in the crowd and thanked her for her support and love, "I want to thank my wife. I want to thank her for working on our marriage for 10 Christmases. It's good, it's work, but it's the best king of work and there's no-one I'd rather work with."
