Elton John New Album ‘The Diving Board’ Set For September Release, 'Piano Oriented Album' [TRACK List]

English singer-songwriter Elton John not only announced that he is planning to release a new album but reports have been out the pianist and singer has completed recording for the upcoming alum.

This will be John's thirtieth LP in his 40-year career in music. The singer will be joining hands with his long time song writing collaborator - Bernie Taupin and will be produced by T-Bone Burnett. The album has John on piano/bass/drums, Jay Bellerose on drums , Raphael Saadiq on bass, Doyle Bramhall on guitar, Keefus Ciancia on keyboards and Jack Ashford on percussion.

The album will be offering John's fans, "everything I love about American music: gospel, soul, country. It's the most adult record I can make at my age," said the ecstatic singer.

He also revealed that the upcoming album will be more leaning towards piano. "It's the most piano-oriented album of my career."

"I'm just heading toward being 80 years old and playing at the Holiday Inn," he added. "I'm not the sort of artist who'll get played on the radio."

The album will have 13 song tracks writing by Taupin. The album is slated for September 2013 release. His last album, "The Captain & the Kid" rolled out in 2006.
