This week's Monday Night Raw was in Chicago, which led to the WWE crew, The New Day , which includes Big EKofi Kingston and Xavier Woods, taking a shot at Chicago's own, Derrick Rose of the Bulls.

Now, Derrick Rose is an injury-prone point guard who practically sat out more than he's played and is currently going through an alleged rape case.

To back up a bit, and possibly refresh the memories of NBA fans (or enlighten newer NBA fans), Derrick Rose is the Chicago native, Bulls star point guard who won Rookie of the Year, league MVP and has been an NBA All-Star three times. Back in 2011, Rose suffered multiple minor injuries, which led him to sit out for a lot of the season: sprained toes, back issues and a recurring groin injury. Later that season, in April of 2012, during the first-round of the playoffs against the Philadelphia 76ers, Rose tore his left ACL. For this injury, Rose sat out for the entire following season. When he finally returned in 2013, he ended up tearing his right meniscus, ending that season shortly after it began. In the 2014-2015 season, Rose played 51 games, and missed 20 due to the re-aggravation of his knee. And now, even before the new season could begin, Rose got hit with an elbow during the first day of training camp, in which he suffered an orbital fracture, as reported by Fox Sports.

So it only makes sense if Chicago, as a whole, isn't much of a fan of Rose, especially after Rose set such high expectations of himself after being named the youngest MVP in the history of NBA and making claims of carrying the Bulls to the NBA Finals.

In light of this, The New Day felt it was appropriate to diss Derrick Rose. As reported by UpRoxx, even as the trio mentioned Derrick Rose's name, the crowd began to boo, anticipating a shot at the Windy City All-Star. Now, the diss wasn't too harsh, but it was pretty straightforward.

Xavier Woods told Randy Orton and Dean Ambrose, "So why don't you two take a page out of Chicago Bulls player Derrick Rose's book, and uh, I haven't even said it, yet," Woods said, as per The Chicago SunTimes. "Like Derrick Rose, just go and, sit on the bench."

Ouch, hopefully that doesn't cause Rose another injury.
