'From Dusk Till Dawn' Season 2 Episode 8 Recap: “The Last Temptation of Richard Gecko!”

Based on the cult classic from Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez, El Rey Network continues Season 2 of From Dusk Till Dawn. In Episode 8, will Richie Gecko (Zane Holtz) suffer The Last Temptation of Richard Gecko from Carlos Madrigal (Wilmer Valderrama)?

A biker brings in the decapitated head of Lord Malvado (Esai Morales)'s head.This is all part of Sex Machine (Jake Busey) and Carlos' plans as they attempt to start the ritual. Kate (Madison Davenport) is important in the the ritual; the innocent has to spill innocent blood. In order to help her brother, Kate ends up stabbing the hostage in the heart.The sky suddenly turns into night, revealing the location.

In the car, Seth and Richie are working together on their next con.The Gecko brothers break into the meat factory, knock out a few vamps, and meet with Winchester Greely (Jere Burns). Santanico (Eiza González) shows her vampire face to Greely, who agrees to help them. The vamps promise to hunt down Seth once the score is over.

Richie reveals the rest of his plan to Santanico, but she warns him about Malvado getting into his head. The two kiss before Richie locks her up. The plan begins as Richie feeds and shape-shifts into his target. Richie gets into the car with Greely as Seth rides with Sonja (Briana Evigan).

Back at the stash-house, Richie has to pretend to be his target as Greely sets up the deal. After Malvado is notified, Richie has to play a dangers game of Russian roulette and chooses wisely. Sonja and Seth make it through the first checkpoint, never realizing Freddie Gonzalez (Jesse Garcia) is a stowaway.

Freddie ends up pointing his weapons at Seth and Sonja. After Richie gets involved in the standoff, Freddie reveals he wants in on the stash house. Freddie has the map they don't know about. Following Freddie's lead, Seth is able to prevent Satanico from being discovered by Malvado's henchmen.

Sonja and Seth discover crates full of gold and money. Carlos and his crew suddenly arrive at the stash house. Carlos then meets with Malvado and gloats that he has beaten him. Malvado then takes on look at Kate and Scott (Brandon Soo Hoo) and laughs at Carlos. Malvado will give up the key, if Carlos forgoes Kate.

After Kate is knocked out, Greely and Richie discover they have been tricked. Sonja cuts off Santanico's circulation, revealing she has been secretly working for Malvado. She then shoots the henchmen to cover up her tracks.  

Freddie then discovers the sword and feels its power. While Greely and Richie are being tortured, Santanico calls out through her psychic link. As Richie makes his escape, Carlos and Scott discover the sword missing. 

Seth suddenly discovers Sonja made a deal with Malvado. He then pulls the trigger, killing Sonja, and walks away. While Seth tries to rescue a frozen-solid Santanico, Richie ends up face-to-face against Malvado. 

During the shootout, Seth causes a huge explosion. The fire causes the ice on Santanico's body to melt. Before making his escape, Freddie is beaten down by Sex Machine and loses the sword. Freddie is thrown deep into a pit and buried alive. 

During their confrontation, Malvado seduces Richie with unlimited power. Knowing he has to kill his brother, Richie sits at Malvado's throne.
