Beyonce, Jay Z Squash Divorce Rumors: Rent 'Big Lebowski' Mansion

The past couple of months haven't been easy on Beyonce and Jay Z – at least from the public perspective. Fighting off rumors left and right of an impending divorce, the notorious hip-hop power couple has yet to allow the speculation to bring them down. So how to they plan to squash a few rumors and prove to the world that they are indeed still happily married and drunk in love? Renting out the $45 million mansion (or shall we say palace) featured in the film The Big Lebowski at a mere $150K a month just might be enough to do the trick!

The rumors of Jay Z and Beyonce's potential divorce have been circulating for nearly as long as the two have been married. Sparked mainly by suspected infidelity on Jay Z's part, the possibility of the couple's seven year marriage coming to an end has been a hot gossip topic for months. Their new home, according to Esquire, is costing the family a hefty $150,000 a month.

It's pretty tough to call Beyonce and Jay Z's new Holmby Hills pad a house; it literally could be deemed a palace. The most exciting thing about the new rental is that it was featured in the popular 90's film The Big Lebowski. The film, which Beyonce is a huge fan of, just made sealing the deal on the mansion that much sweeter. She sampled Julianne Moore's monologue from the film, "Do you like sex?" in her 2014 self-titled album.

Jay Z and Beyonce's new mansion might be famous and luxurious to say the least, but according to TMZ, the couple's actual motivation behind wanting to rent it stemmed mainly from its Los Angeles location, which the couple believed would be a good place to raise their daughter Blue Ivy.

The Olympic-sized indoor swimming pool, the outdoor pool with a waterfall, the formal gardens, and the massive 20,000 square foot floorplan probably didn't hurt one bit either. Divorce rumors, take that! Jay Z, Beyonce and their gigantic palace-sized home are doing just fine.
