Chris Hemsworth Instagram [PHOTO] Shows Giant Snake in Backyard

Why in God's name would you do this, Thor? We mean, seriously! Chris Hemsworth decided to join Instagram recently, and while most people would deliver some happy-go-lucky post for their first image, the actor decided to scare the hell out of us all by showing a gigantic snake hanging out in his backyard.

Mark that as another reason why we have NO interest in going to Australia. #NoThankYou.

Hemsworth snapped a pic of himself in his backyard alongside both the terrifying reptile as well as the caption, "Hangin' with the locals in my backyard... the real Jurassic Park!"

Lookout, Chris Pratt, sounds like you and your CGI raptors have got some competition.

For the record, Hemsworth posted the photo to his new Instagram account a couple of days ago and it's still the only damn picture he has up there. Come on, dude. Give us a shirtless selfie, something! But no, you're using Instagram as a medium for making us squirm – and not in the good way!

Well, on the brightside, at least he's not like that guy who wrapped a rattlesnake around his neck just to get a selfie. Can you guess what happened to him?
