NBC recently green lit a new reality pilot produced by The Voice's Adam Levine and David Dobkin. The show was reportedly inspired by Maroon 5's music video for "Sugar" and will feature celebrities as they surprise fans by crashing their life-changing events, like bachelorette parties. The Hollywood Reporter mentioned the untitled one-hour show and wrote, "They'll be working with a team of improv experts to craft the surprises as well."

The band's lead vocalist, and music video director, Dobkin plan on making history again but this time, a weekly television series.

Under Levine's 222 Productions, Variety reported that the singer along with his managing partner, Jordan Feldstein, together with Dobkin, 222's Josh Gummersall, Renegade's David Garfinkle and Jay Refroe, are involved with all aspects of production, from start to finish. The Voice judge has become an experienced producer after successes as a credible television producer, musician, and actor. The businessman also has his hands in fashion and fragrance and has landed major endorsement deals.

Season 9 premiered on Sept. 21 and the panel of judges include Levine, Gwen Steffani, Pharell Williams, and Blake Shelton along with host, Carson Daly. The shows highlights include not only judging but mentoring and training hopeful singers to win the overall competition. Levine's skills as a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist come in to play, when rehearsing his vocalists back stage.

This year the show has won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Reality Competition Program, The Producers Guild of America's Outstanding Producer of Competition Television, and was nominated and, in the past won, numerous awards.

This will be the first major production deal inked between 222 Productions and Renegade 83 for a major television network.
