There's just something super creepy about a horror flick involving a killer children's toy. But when it couples both a killer doll and a gorgeous actress, it becomes just that much more promising! Walking Dead star Lauren Cohan will be starring in the new 2016 horror flick The Boy, and the trailer alone is bound to get you amped for the films release!

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Cohan's creepy new 2016 horror film The Boy focuses on a nanny (Cohan) who is asked to babysit a life-like doll by a couple who treats the doll as if it was a real child. The couple, who are grieving over the loss of their actual child, supposedly use the doll as some creepy way of coping. But of course, it wouldn't be a horror film without a messed up twist, right? After experiencing a series of disturbing events, Cohan becomes convinced that the doll is actually alive, and then the real fun begins!

Want to know the best part? Apparently, Cohan believes that her new horror film is far scarier than the Walking Dead. In a recent interview, she told MTV:

"It has some things that happen towards the end that are just twisted... it's extremely thrilling and entertaining. I read it very quickly, I put the script down, and I thought 'Can I handle this? After doing a year of Walking Dead, can I handle this?' I couldn't stop thinking about it, and I thought, 'Well, that's my answer, then. I have to just handle it. I have to do it.'"

Although we won't know whether or not Cohan's claims about her new film actually reign true until Jan. 22, 2016 when it hits theaters, you can check out the official trailer for The Boy in the video below!

Regardless, though, life-like dolls are creepy, and getting to see Cohan's gorgeous face on the big screen is sure to be a real treat.
