Bravo may have to wait for their star, Teresa Giudice. to complete house arrest to begin filming. The reality star and family has allowed producers to record the phone conversations from prison to her family on the three-part special, Real Housewives of New Jersey: Teresa Checks In. Reportedly, she'll be on house arrest until February with an ankle bracelet to track her whereabouts and to make sure she stay on her property.

When she is finally free from behind bars, her hubby and father of three, Joe Giudice, will turn himself in for a 41-month stint at Federal Corrections Institute at Fort Dix, New Jersey according to NJ.com.

Radar Online reports, "Bravo had hoped to film Teresa and Joe's final days together before he begins serving his four year prison sentence beginning in March ... The entire show revolves around Teresa, so the network has no other choice but to wait."

But fans won't have to wait for long because her memoir, Turning the Tables: From Housewife to Inmate and Back Again, will be released on Feb. 9.

Meanwhile, it seems daughter Gia is the star of the show. Of course, there are family members to help shape the storyline including Teresa's parents who has been on the first two episodes so far, along with Joe and Melissa Gorga and the posse of children between the two families. There was a segment when Joe's attorney friend introduces him to a mafioso who gave him some tips on surviving in prison but the conversation seemed forced and unauthentic.

This show needs saving and if Bravo want's to save the RHONJ franchise, they had better figure out who they can cast to make the show interesting. Teresa can't afford to flip tables while on parole, like she did on the first season. She needs a spin-off show because has to walk a straight line before she's in strips again!
