New artist D.R.A.M. is too pleased that Drake jacked sampled his "Cha Cha" beat for his hit song "Hotline Bling" shortly after the release of his colorful, meme worthy music video, Oct. 19.

After performing in the OVO star's hometown, Toronto, the uprising star was placed on a major platform thanks to Beyoncé's own Instagram video dancing to the catchy tune, expressed his distain over the comparisons of their two similar sounding songs.

He wrote, "Just performed in Toronto for the 1st time tonight and it was bittersweet. Sweet cus I'm out here sharing my music, my sound with the people... Bitter though, cus after my performance all I'm seeing is Cha Cha/Hotline Bling comparisons on my timeline."

Although, it seemed pretty bold to go up against the very likable star, he bluntly added, "Yeah, I feel I got jacked for my record... But I'm Good."

Yes, the 28-year-old never confirmed using D.R.A.M.'s "Cha Cha" to remix his own version for "Hotline Bling" but the song does use a faster version of Timmy Thomas' 1972 track, "Why Can't We Live Together."

Check out some of the mixed reviews via Twitter:

@LeeTRBL  tweeted, "Dram had an idea. Made a modest hit. Drake borrowed some elements of the idea and executed it on a larger scale. That's the game breh."

@AbrissErik  tweeted, "If you were the inventor of Facebook, you would've invented Facebook - Drake Zuckerberg to Dram Winklevoss."

@fatalitiess  tweeted, "I don't know. I can understand how DRAM feels but Drake didn't really steal anything. It feels more like he was inspired by Cha Cha."

@cisceroo  tweeted, "Told y'all dram got finessed for his record. That's why I can't mess with drake tbh. This like his 10th time doing this."

What do you think about the two songs?
