After dusting off those comedy skills and displaying them unto the world this past weekend at the Kennedy Center, Eddie Murphy is once again the talk of the town. And following his delivery of that much-anticipated Bill Cosby impression, many are hoping for some sort of stand-up tour—especially if he were to team up with a couple of the comics who honored him during his Mark Twain Prize ceremony, like Dave Chappelle.

Now, no, the duo are not going on a tour but who wouldn't want that? In fact, TMZ recently caught up with Chappelle to ask about the possibility of something such as that coming to fruition. And, well, the comedian didn't say "no."

"What would be a good tour with three other comedians," the cameraman asked Chappelle. To which he further explained his choice would be Murphy, Tracy Morgan, Chappelle and Chris Rock.

Chappelle joked, "Who has that budget?" But of course, he wouldn't mind opening for Murphy on the road.

When asked if Murphy would do a "comedian tour" – which confused us at first, but let's be real, the guy was probably nervous so let's give him a break – Chappelle responded that he's not so sure, but Murphy "was on fire" during the Kennedy Center honors.

So... maybe?

Murphy received the Mark Twain Prize at the Kennedy Center this past weekend, a top honor in the field of funny. While accepting the award he brought up the fact that Cosby also has one and asked if they demanded he give it back. Which is exactly when he delivered an impression of the former Cosby Show star.

And. The. Internet. Went. Nuts.
