Bravo is all about keeping things real with their reality series, but one of the network's stars just got really real by opening up about her decision to take chemotherapy. Golnesa "GG" Gharachedaghi, star of the fan favorite show, Shahs of Sunset, has just gotten especially candid with her fans and followers, revealing some pretty devastating news on her Instagram account earlier this month. Reza Farahan's co-star took to the social media site to explain that she will be undergoing chemotherapy to help battle her rheumatoid arthritis.

Gharachedaghi took to her Instagram account to reveal that she would be starting that process of chemo to get her rheumatoid arthritis under control.

"Today is the day I begin the process of chemotherapy," the starlet wrote on the site, underneath a picture that said, "I want to inspire people. I want someone to look at me and say 'because of you I didn't give up.'"

"Never have I ever been so scared yet so excited at the same time," the star continued, "I'm scared because, well, the f-king obvious, it's chemo! But I'm excited because for 5 years I've put this off because of my fear of the word 'chemotherapy' and I've now reached a place of acceptance."

According to Us Weekly, the star's disease has been extremely aggressive, and after five years, she has finally decided to take steps in order to get her health under control.

"My RA is working in overcharge and my health has not been getting better," the reality star explained. "But today I will take charge and hope for a better tomorrow. Hopefully I will inspire others to not be afraid as well. Thank you all for always being so supportive of me on this journey. Wish me luck!"

Fans first fell in love with GG when the series debuted back in 2012 on the network. We are sending positive vibes to Gharachedaghi as she undergoes this scary process.
