In an interview with Hot 97, Dej Loaf opened up about almost dying on the Nicki Minaj "Pinkprint Tour" from overdosing on edible marijuana.

"I almost died. I took a brownie edible. I had one before, it was a cupcake but it wasn't as strong we were out in Cali, so maybe that was the thing." She explained she didn't eat the whole brownie, "I just had a little corner, just a little chunk and it was kind of like, the chunk of my life," she told Peter Rosenberg and Laura Stylez.

Dej said that she took the drug after her set during the Nicki Minaj "Pinkprint Tour," "I was on the phone, I came back, I was drinking Hennessey, so that was already my buzz. People cam e over with a brownie." She said she didn't think much of it and took a piece of the brownie and began feeling the side effects, "It kicked in superfast."

She said, "I woke up laughing." She continued, "They said I passed out for four minutes but it felt like 40 minutes, it felt like an hour." Although, the star seemed to pull through her high, she explained that she had an awkward experience while passed out,"I went through this whole little life thing like, I saw everything!"

August 23, the star decided to let her fans in on her overdose secret tweeting, "Fun Fact: I ate a weed brownie and almost died (well at least in my mind I did) while on the Pink Print tour. Like legit. I will never eat an Edible ever again. Shits not for me. It was like I was watching myself die. Lol not funny but I swear that was the most insane shit I've ever experienced in my life. Whole time I was thinking like (so this is what it feels like to die) It was mentally painful."

She advised her fans to stay away from the edible drug and, "Stick to Hennessy." Although fans thought it was a hilarious fact, she confirmed that's her "discharge papers said 'overdosed on Marijuana.'"
