Season 11 of Bones continues its final season on Fox. In tonight's Episode 4, after finally reunited, are Temperance Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz) ready to meet guest star Betty White in "The Carpals in the Coy-Wolves?"

As we previously mentioned, the eleventh season will pick up six months after the Season 10 finale. In the time-jump, Brennan and Booth have moved on to a new town and new jobs. Though they have given up their old life and settled into a blissful death-free existence, a murder unlike any other draws them back. They reunite with their former colleagues at the Jeffersonian and FBI to solve the case.

In our recent recap, with his brother's ashes missing and ames Aubrey (John Boyd), Booth had a hard time transitioning back to work at the FBI. Back at the Jeffersonian, Brennan discovered Camille (Tamara Taylor) and Arastoo (Pej Vahdat) have broken up. After finally solving their case, Brennan was finally able to give Booth closure after finding his brother's ashes.

According to USA Today, "Betty White shines as a brilliant forensic anthropologist who brings out the competitive streak in Bones." In the episode, Brennan is dealing with Booth's unhappiness after her decision to kill off the character in her popular books. What does it mean that Brennan killed off the one she based on him in her books? Just as always, "White is a pleasure to watch throughout."

In an interview with The Gazette, executive producer Michael Peterson describes Booth and Brennan's relationship this season, "The way that we say it internally here is Booth is a little bit of a Superman and Superman can't just sit by and watch as people suffer. There really is no retiring for him, so by the end of the second episode Brennan understands that she belongs in the lab and that her Superman, Booth, belongs out there in the field saving people."

Bones continues Thursdays on Fox at 8pm. Get ready for the upcoming Sleepy Hollow crossover for Halloween.
