Linden High School sophomore Justine Betti, became concern when she realized that money was being stolen from her and her classmates purses and decided to do something about it. The teenager hid in a locker and caught a teacher red-handed on with her own eyes and on her camera phone.

The footage shows the high school faculty member going through the student's purses and bags and stealing from them during their gym period. Students say that this had been going on for the past year. Once the girls left the locker room to go to gym class, one teacher stayed back and began rummaging through their bags.

February 13, Betti decide to cage herself in a semi-see through locker with her cell phone in hand and waited for the thief to identify themselves and couldn't believe her eyes when she found out who was taking her money, "I didn't want to believe that she would do something like that because she was so nice, but then she did it,' Betti told KXTV. 'It was really scary. I was like "Oh my gosh, I can't believe I just got this on video."

In addition, Betti hid another camera in a second locker as a backup. The Principal was informed and shown the video and promised to look into it, and asked Betti to delete the videos. Unfortunately for the Principal, the footage was forwarded to Betti's father and friends who knew about the stake-out.

According to ABCNews, the teacher is on administrative leave and pending an inquiry with, Linden School District and the San Joaquin County Sheriff's Department. No criminal charges have yet to be filed. Betti still can't grasp what she was a witness to, but believes she did what was right, "We feel like we did the right thing, but It's still kind of hard."
