Jessa Duggar might follow a strict set of rules coming from a super religious family, but the former 19 Kids and Counting star didn't keep it so traditional when throwing her baby shower over the weekend. While most showers traditionally are for female friends and family members, both Duggar and her hubby Ben Seewald decided to open the celebration up to both women and men, and why not? The former TLC stars decided to throw an autumn-themed shower for their first child, in their homestate of Arkansas for their baby, who will be entering the world in the coming weeks.

According to US Weeklythe celebration took place on Oct. 15 and was full of amazing autumnal foods. Guests could cook their own hot dogs over an open fire and there was an assortment of pumpkin-themed desserts.

Ben said that the idea of opening the festivities to both sexes came from his sister-in-law Jill Duggar and her hubby, Derick Dillard, who threw a similar shower for their son, Israel.

"Ever since Jill had her baby shower for Israel, Ben has been talking about this idea of a 'guy-friendly shower,' so he was definitely excited about this!" Us Weekly's anonymous source said, which explains the more than 100 people present.

According to the Daily Mail, the celebration was held at a family friend's barn and it included some fun baby shower-themed games. Men were treated to a milk-drinking competition, while the ladies in the crowd were part of a diaper-changing challenge.

As for how the mother-to-be is dealing with being pregnant, a source gushed to People, "She's adorable. She didn't gain any weight in her face at all. She's absolutely flawless!"

The baby is expected to make its way into the world on Nov. 1, which happens to be the couple's first wedding anniversary.
