Rapper Lil B, who's known as the "Based God," has officially reinstated the James Harden curse. After originally cursing Harden during the Houston Rockets' last season for using his cooking dance without permission, Lil B lifted the curse during the summer after Harden and the Rockets lost against the Golden State Warriors.

Now, Harden posted a photo of himself doing the cooking dance on Instagram, which has upset Lil B yet again, so he put the "Based God" curse back on Harden.

For those who are unaware, Lil B is a rapper known as "Lil B, the Based God," which is a nickname he earned by Brandon McCartney, a member of The Pack (a rap group). The Based God also has this famous cooking dance, which is only to be used after obtaining his permission. James Harden, (who once claimed he didn't even know who Lil B was, despite tweeting about listening to some of his songs back in the day), has been doing the dance without Lil B's approval.

Apparently, the only person who is allowed to do the dance whenever he pleases is Peyton Manning; everyone else must seek permission prior to using his moves. It seems the curses of the past haven't taught Harden his lesson.

Last season, after Lil B cursed Harden, he lost the MVP award (which he believes belonged to him) to Stephen Curry and lost the NBA Finals to the Golden State Warriors. Now, call it what you want, but the way the Rockets lost to the Warriors seemed a bit off, especially considering how well they were playing throughout the playoffs and regular reason (they lost 4-1).

ESPN reports that Harden posted a photo of himself on Instagram on Thursday. In said photo, Harden is seem performing the cooking dance, while the caption of the photo reads, "7days until the cook is back to work! #HTown":

This angered Lil B, who was generous enough to lift the curse off of Harden once the Finals ended as he and the Rockets lost to the Golden State Warriors (which Lil B felt was enough punishment for disrespecting Lil B and the dance). So, Lil B decided to curse Harden once again.

"The curse is officially back active," he told TMZ Sports. "It's disgusting. He's still in denial. He will pay for the blatant disrespect and no honor to the originator. All he has to do is show love. Harden has gone too far this time."

Well, there goes another championship attempt for the Houston Rockets, as it seems like this season will be starting exactly how last season ended... Unless, of course, Harden apologizes to Lil B and ends the curse once and for all.
