Demi Lovato is Obviously Not a Fan of Secret Twin Sister Conspiracy Tumblr Meme 'Poot Lovato'

Who knew that Demi Lovato had a secret twin sister locked away in the basement of her house? Alright, that was a trick question. But then again, it is a pretty funny visual right? Well, it doesn't appear to be too funny to Lovato herself! This past week, the internet became obsessed with the recent humor inspired Tumblr theory that Lovato has a secret twin sister named Poot Lovato. Let's just say, Lovato is not a fan.

According to Cosmopolitan, this past week, the internet exploded with a humor inspired Tumblr meme focusing around the concept of Lovato having a secret twin sister. But not only has she been keeping this twin of hers a secret, her conspiracy twin (Poot Lovato) has recently broken out of the basement that she grew up in and has finally been given the much awaited opportunity of unleashing her awesomeness on the world.

Buzzfeed took the reigns and covered the first story about Poot, stating that a Tumblr user by the name of Cstcrpt (whose account has now been deleted) took the liberty of posting a photo of what may or may not actually be Lovato, with the tag line, "Demi's twin sister. She was locked in a basement her whole life. This picture was taken the first time she went outside. Her name is Poot." From there, a Twitter account also emerged and next came a back story created on Watt Pad stating that:

"She wasn't born cool for the summer, so they locked her up in the basement thinking she would rot there. How wrong they were when they found out that she lived a secret life down there... and what a life! Oh, I forgot to introduce her to you. Her name is Poot".

The internet might not be able to get enough of Poot Lovato, but Lovato herself doesn't appear to share the same enthusiasm. As Cosmopolitan went on to say, Demi decided to show her retaliation in what just may be the most fitting way possible; a couple of good old twitter posts!

"Cool to see a shitty angle turn into a meme that circulates the Internet to people's amusemant ha," she tweeted, which was followed shortly after with, "Oh and make actual 'headlines"

Although both posts have since been deleted, it's still pretty safe to say that Demi obviously isn't a big Poot Lovato fan. But hey, that doesn't mean that we can't enjoy a little bit of Poot themed humor, right? Given the Instagram photo above, it really does appear as though Poot's awesomeness just can't be stopped!
