The X-Files Revival Spoilers: Twitter Reacts David Duchovny/Gillian Anderson They're Coming!

Back by popular demand, Fox revives the iconic sci-fi/horror series with an all-new promo. In the revival of The X-Files, will paranormal investigators Fox Mulder (David Duchovny) and Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson) discover "They're Coming" in new teaser?

As we previously mentioned,13 years have passed since FBI agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully were on the TV screen solving weird and supernatural cases. The reboot of Fox's popular sci-fi series continues with an all-new 6 episode arc. Not only are the leads back to reprise their iconic roles, creator Chris Carter will takeover as showrunner for the franchise that launched his and many other careers.

As we mentioned before, on Monday night (September 28), Fox aired a two-part trailer for their sci-fi procedural/drama. Just days after the cast and crew made their way to New York Comic Con, Fox then premiered a new animated promo during a previous Gotham episode. And now, new footage made its way onto television screens during the the sixth episode of Gotham.

According to TV Line,  in their description of the footage, "Spooky wakes up missing his shirt but in front of an impressive taxidermy display, and the agents brandish their flashlights (was that a fleeting look of delight in Scully's eyes?) before barging into a dark room."

The X-Files returns with a special two-night event beginning Sunday, January 24, 2016, following the NFC Championship Game. The event continues Monday, January 25, 2016 (8pm).
