Taylor Swift's relationship with Harry Styles' might be old news, as the couple have long since split, but the 1989 star, who is rumored to have penned two songs about the One Direction star on her latest release ("Style," and "Out of the Woods"), is opening up even more about the time she spent with the teen heartthrob. While Swift is happy with new beau Calvin Harris, she couldn't help but reflect about her time with a former lover when asked about him in a recent interview.

According to Us Weekly, what Swift remembers most about that relationship was the intense feeling of anxiety that she experienced for most of it.

The "Bad Blood" singer, who is this month's GQ cover girl, opened up about the relationship she had with Styles, which began in November 2012, before the couple broke up in January 2013, after spending the holidays traveling together.

"The number one feeling I felt in the whole relationship was anxiety. Because it felt very fragile, it felt very tentative," the starlet revealed to the magazine, adding that it always felt like a breakup was inevitable. "It always felt like, 'Okay, what's the next road block? What's the next thing that's gonna deter this? How long do we have before this turns into just an awful mess and we break up? Is it a month? Is it three days?"

According to ET, Taylor also expressed the anxiety that the relationship caused while she performed at the GRAMMY Museum earlier this month.

However, while the relationship with Styles' did come to an end, Swift doesn't regret it, but rather sees the beauty in just how fragile it was.

"You know, I think a lot of relationships can be very solid and that's kind of what you hope for, for it to be solid and healthy but that's not always what you get," she continued, according to Daily Mail. "And it doesn't mean that it's not special and extraordinary just to have a relationship that's fragile and somehow meaningful in that fragility."
