Honey Boo Boo might have been laying low since the cancellation of her TLC show, but the star known as Alana Thompson has made a comeback in a big way. No the series hasn't been returned to the air, but Thompson is thinking about a career change now that the show has been off the air for almost a year. Following reports that Mama June Shannon's ex-boyfriends had molested her daughter, Anna Cardwell and was back in their lives, TLC promptly cancelled the show. However, it doesn't seem that the pint-sized star is going to need the network's money for very much longer, as she just debuted a brand new music video.

According to Radar Online, the star is moving out of the shadow of her family's controversy, and is "Movin' Up," which is actually what the song is called.

However, the site is reporting that while the star is moving on from her life as a reality star, she hasn't put her life as pageant princess behind her. The video shows the starlet channeling her inner roots, as it show off her beauty queen days, and focuses on her life as she is trying to break into the music scene.

And it wouldn't be a Honey Boo Boo occasion if the whole family wasn't present. The video features the whole gang including Mama June, Mike "Sugar Bear" Thompson, and Alana's sister, Lauryn "Pumpkin" Shannon.

According to Hollywood Life, the music video was released by GR Media, who were also the brains behind the releases of other reality stars who were trying to make it in the music industry. Their releases include Mackenzie McKee of Teen Mom fame and "Tan Mom" Patricia Krencil's foray into the world of music. The company hoped to have this video go viral after its release.
