Recently, the 34-year-old opened up in an interview on The Meredith Vieira Show about her collaborative music video for "Do It" and if she found it awkward working with the New Orleans native.

"It wasn't hard at all because we're still friends," she reveals. "He and I are actually very good. I think we understood that the relationship is not working at the moment for us and we're both extremely busy. And rather than trying to force it and try to fix it, you know, make something work that's just not working in the moment, we're like 'let's just settle and chill out for a moment'."

Although, most celebrity break ups turn messy, she says they are still on good terms, "I literally was just texting him a little while ago. So we're still like texting each other, checking up on each other, we shot a music video, we were perfectly fine. The chemistry was still there. That's not gone at all."

Recently, the couple wrapped their relationship due to their hectic schedules and in an interview with HuffPost Live, the "Dip It Low" singer said, "It takes a big man and a big woman to actually say like, 'Okay, I'm in love with you, but I can't keep forcing it - it's only pushing us apart'," she added, "Eventually, who knows!" Milian shares. "There might be a right time. This might be just it, and at the end of the day we're still here. We talk to each other still every day."
