Rock band Aerosmith's legendary frontman, Steven Tyler, known for his bombastic and colorful ways revealed that he shelled out around $5-6 million for snorting cocaine in Peru.

Tyler, who successfully completed a rehab program in the mid 1980's, told Australia's 60 Minutes in an interview that he "spent five or six million dollars. But it doesn't matter. You also could say I snorted half of Peru, but it doesn't matter. You know, it's what we did."

Tyler also known as the Demon of Screamin' was asked by the interviewer about him and his guitarist Joe Perry being called the "Toxic Twins" for their drug filled days in the past. "We still are, we still can be toxic. We fight toxically, we play toxically," he said.

Aerosmith dropped their fifteenth studio album, "Music from Another Dimension!" Nov. 6, 2012. The album featured actor-musician Johnny Depp, John Lennon's son Julian and country singer Carrie Underwood.

The album has tracks like "Love Three Times A Day" and "Lover A lot." Tyler spoke about these tracks, "I was reading the lyrics upstairs and I was thinking, there's a lot of love. And I got shameful for a minute and thought, we should be more socially relevant...I'm not socially relevant but I write about love and passion - and it's fun! It's what I think a rock'n'roll band should be," said the frontman, EntertainmentWise reported.

Aerosmith (Tyler and Perry) has been invited to be inducted into the Songwriter's Hall of Fame following its legendary success and contribution to the world of music. The official induction to the Hall of Fame will take place in New York, June 13.
